Your ten times better than those boys at your school who go through 2 girls a week and then boast about how far they got with her, as a girl, I find their view of females degrading and down right idiotic. Never look for a girlfriend, never try and get one for the sake of having one. Wait until you find someone special enough for you. Love is for EVERYONE. You never know when that special someone is right infront of your eyes. Love doesn't come when you ask it to or when you wait for it. Love comes with experience and your own personal understanding of what love IS. Until you decide you can NEVER love. There is no perfect match out there that is perfect for you. If I'm still believing in love after being cheated on many times etc etc then SURELY you guys can. Girlfriends are not expensive, just sluts. A gift from the heart is worth 10 diamond necklaces. |

THAT isn't helpful either. If you think theres a guy outthere for is going to put up with THAT for a while, then you are sadly mistaken. I only repeat your actions to emphasize how bad they are. Don't bother saying a girl wouldn't put up with me, I have a girlfriend and have been with her for 5 months n a half, so sh =] I'm offended by your opinions upon the matter. You can't determine what a girl is going to accept and not accept, there are a lot of girls out there and one of them may put up with it in the future. Maybe someone will put up with you in the future, but your not doing yourself any favours are you. |

The only seriousness in that post was that he shouldn't get a girlfriend just so he can have a girlfriend, and that he could try a hobby. I know that everyone deserves love, and I am sorry you got the impression that I didn't from my post. No. What I thought was that Tom was referring to the "you have an Eilidh" part. Having now properly read through everything it seems that Tom has taken offence at all the stuff about me not needing a girlfriend. Tom. What Eilidh was saying is that I don't necessarily have to have a girlfriend to be happy. She wasn't saying that I shouldn't get one, just that it is pointless getting one for the sake of it. |

Exactly my good fellow, it's nice to be in a good relationship, even I know that. But getting a girlfriend just so you can fit in with these boys at school is not a good idea IMO, I think relationships like that are unsatisfiying. Whiteshadow, once again I'm sorry if you misunderstood me.

I feel very VERY strongly towards this subject and do not like it at all when people pick it out and make it seem like a terrible thing and like they completely understand what love is. No one knows what love is because there is no meaning of love. Love is just what individual people on THEIR OWN believe, and when a girl matches that inner belief and inner feeling thats a perfect match. But that won't happen without experience in relationships because you havn't experienced anything to have your own belief about. |

This site is to help people and to encourage people, make them feel better and all the rest of it. You said you wanted something new to get you out of the same boring old routines and you have thought about trying to get into a relationship. From what I read, and I read it more then once, is that what Eilidh was trying to say is that you shouldn't get a girlfriend because you will end up like all the other people that try and make love a game and see how far people have ever been with a person and it's just, tbh, downright rude. I'm sorry but thats how I'm getting the message put out. You know her a lot better then I do and you probably understand her behaviour and posts. But from where I'm sitting and from what I'm reading, my understand is as it stands. |
