YES, its fine to be gay... or BI
there is nothing wrong with it, it is just not accepted by all people thats all.
It wont be long before they start making campaigns about homophobia like they are about racism

well, do you think that you are born gay or do you think you become gay... or is it abit of both? I believe that you are born gay, but you may realise it later in life or even not at all depending on what happens to you in your life.

^^ That.
I think a part of it will always be natur, and that you can't help who/what you are. But nature does play a big part in that you might realise it sooner rather then later or not at all.

there is no question being gay or bi is in your genes you are you Actually there is no such thing as a gay gene, it's a product of a mixture of highly reaction sensitive genetic situations, or something like that. We just don't know why.

I remember when you wrote that awesome blog post that used a load of words that only you and Jer knew.
Strangely, I have now learnt about zygotes in science, so understand some of it.

I don't believe it's in the genes
I think it's all in the background Dependant on a persons background and the way they grow up will differentiate wether they are go or not.
Personally, I don't mind gays, I can get along with gays, just sometimes I'd rather them not around because they can be... quite gay. If you get what I mean

Of course it's fine. I think it's stupid when people say 'it's creepy having a gay friend because they might fancy me or something' because people still have friends of both genders..

I agree with your point sobiteme. You don't see boys going: "Oh, this friend of mine who is a girl is kind of creepy. They might fancy me." Also, this is a pic I came across the other week.

That was in my school last week but when I went back to look today it had been taken down which was a shame. It's a good poster.

I don't care what gay people do, as long as it doesn't creep out or intrude on others.
At my school, in the year above me there was a gay kid, and he wore a rainbow top (no mention of anything to do with being gay). The teacher knew he was gay, put two and two together and asked him to leave the room. Later that day he was asked to come to the office and was forced to take off the shirt and put on a different one.
He was also reccomended to see a counselor, to help him with his "problem".
He left at the end of the year, angry at how he'd been treated.

I don't care what gay people do, as long as it doesn't creep out or intrude on others. F**king straight people, flaunting their sexuality in public, creeps me out. It's so disgusting, I'll only accept it as long as those freaks keep it away from me.

It's not a choice, so I'd guess it was psychological or in your genes, yeah. I'm actually quite surprised at the number of people in this thread who think that a gay relationship is so different to a normal one. If straight people can start snogging in the street, and nobody cares, should that not be the same for a gay or bi person? As tom said, some people are gay, get over it.

I would say that sexuality is definitely in your genes and not something that the environment has an influence on.
However, I do think that your true sexuality can lay dormant if you suppress it environmentally. You could, in theory, convince yourself that you were straight even if you were destined to be gay.

It's against my religion and I can't help that. I embrace my religion and therefore have to follow and embrace it's beliefs, but regardless . . . .
I don't have a problem with homosexuals at all. They don't follow my religion so I never bother them with it. XD They can do what they want with their lives and someone being homosexual doesn't bother me in the least as long as they are happy about it. They can talk to me about their love lives and I would listen attentively and sympathetically.
And it doesn't matter if it's okay in other people's eyes, everyone should just be doing what they think is the most right for themselves.

What I don't get is why people use the word 'gays' like they are a different race. They are the same as everyone else on Earth, still human, two arms, two legs, two eyes. Also, people say they have a problem with being around people who are gay, I know someone who is gay and you wouldn't know unless you heard him say it. There is no difference between a gay person and a 'normal' person.
