I'm a different person than I used to be and it's happening really quickly. I'm taking a type of philosophy class right now and it's making me think about life a lot and how I should behave in life and I'm very different than I was before I started the class. Seriously, this class is changing my life. Some parts of me I like and other parts I hate about the new me and I'm afraid people are going to hate the new me.

I'd say any class that can make someone think about who they are is a good thing. That's what education is there for after all, to teach you about things and to a lesser extent, to help shape your opinions.
I mean, my Sociology class has really made me think and is now easily my favourite subject. I'm so glad I took it because I can actually do something with what I learn. It's not just learning for the sake of passing exams, like in most other subjects. Or at least, it isn't for me.
Change is usually a positive thing and as long as you're happy with how you are, other people shouldn't matter. And for what it's worth, you seem rather awesome to me anyway.

Okay, thanks.
I took sociology, too, and I felt the same way that you did about it.
