Is anyone here easily distracted by things?
Are there any things in particular that are good at distracting you?

Not things as such, but certain people can distract me, either in a good or bad way. Usually though I'm pretty well focused and have good concentration.

When computers are around me, I have trouble not being distracted by the internet when I'm supposed to be doing something responsible.

Yeah. The internet is a major distraction that stops me getting anything done. "Another example of the power of the media and a very important one. The internet. In the past few years the internet has been responsible for a massive change in social attitudes, because of the fact that people now have instant access to an large amount of information at the click of a button. There are obvious benefits to this, the ease of it all, the fact that it gives people new ideas and experiences (I'm thinking of all the wonderful people I wouldn't know if it wasn't for the internet). The internet allows people to communicate without any social barriers which include class, gender, religion or geography. Most people, myself included, wouldn't know what to do without the internet these days." Paragraph in what may turn into my Sociology coursework xP

I have borderline ADHD so am pretty much distracted by anything; I see a colouring pen or a flutterby or anything and I'm instantly distracted from whatever I was doing in the first place. Also I get distracted in conversation e.g. Person: Take a diamondback for example, it's efficent, it does what it says on the package- Me: It comes in a package? Person: Well in a box, anyway- Me: What does it look like? Person: A box Me: Can I see it? etc.
