Do you guys think it is a good idea for us to set up an ABC magazine?
Also, any suggestions as to what we could put in it would be awesome.

I think it would be a good idea. I think we would probably do a downloadable internet version and a hard paper copy.

downloadable internet version is defo the best thing to do... like this XKCD XKCD is totally different. It is a comic strip for which a new "episode" is released a few times a week. This would probably be a decent sized magazine that we release once a month.

XKCD is an online comic that you read... good enuf for me It is totally different. XKCD is simple comic strips that are just embedded as images onto the page, whereas the ABC magazine will be a full-on publication that will probably be available to download as a PDF.

I'd say we waited untill we get more members, or would this help spread the word?

I'd say we waited untill we get more members, or would this help spread the word? It would take us a while to actually produce the magazine, by which time we could have more members. It definitely won't be started until the new year anyway.

If you did content, I might be able to do a layout/front cover?
It could even do the whole thing in flash, with interactivity and quizzes?

Poll closed. The magazine is now definitely going to happen.
Any ideas for the magazine should now be posted and would be most welcome.

I've got In-Design, Photoshop and Acrobat, so I can put it together. I'm getting Dreamweaver, too, so I can handle the website aspect, too. Thinking about it, I could also do the US distribution.
