Take it Tom!
You can always promote him back to the position he once had if he comes back and finds out he has the time to work on this place.

Okay, well, I think everyone read the anonymous post with that certain advice on it. I had to delete it though due to privacy issues. I hope you understand.

Just so people know, work on ABC v2 has started, and it's coming along sooner than you think.

You know, I was just reading over all your comments, n I think you've gotten the wrong idea.
Personally, I think this new "super-site" is just what we have been waiting for. There are a few ways to promote ideas, start small, get members and interest and then using that push forward. Or push forward first, and then people will become interested.
I can probably say that the idea of a help website is something commonly thought about among a lot of people, but how many actually get there? Not many. We have something here, we have actually got a forum for this, and it needs to get out there, it needs to be heard. I don't see us being able to expand ourselves using a proboards forum.
Thats why, with this new supersite, everything will become better, a lot better. Can't you even produce a forum to go with the new ABC site? ABC's own official forum? The radio is a brilliant idea, for advertising. People listen to the radio a lot in the car going places, what if teenagers in the car happen to hear a teenage lad saying "teenage life, its fun at times but it can be difficult, very difficult. If you feel your struggling under the pressure of being a teenager, we can offer assistance. A place for teenagers run by teenagers. ABC.co.uk. We are here to help."
That is a lot better then not having a radio advertisement at all don't you think? We can expand a whole lot more having an online base. Now you can say this forum is our base, but it's a small base, something we can't do a whole lot with. All the other forums you go on, whats made them so popular? how did they expand themselves to reach places? where did they find people? They have peoples specific interests at heart, such as cherub etc. Well we have a bigger interest at heart, one of the biggest media interests going; Teenagers.
Now I've just rambled a lot and probably just gone off track, but it all makes sense. From here, we are limited, we can advertise and advertise but theres nothing keeping people here. It's not interesting enough for people to stay posting all the time. It's not active enough for people to regularly sign in.
So, when this new supersite comes along, it's going to be new, fresh and beautiful. People will like it, it'll be exciting, WOW! new website for teenagers to ask questions. If we can become proffessional, we can seek for proffessional funding and sponsors. Hell, you even had that dream of becoming part of childline didn't you? Well you can do that, the owners of ABC. No... WE can do that, all of us together. We are the foundatiion of ABC, we are what makes ABC ABC. Each of us here has something to contribute, each of us here has experiences, we can cover everything.
This push forward will be amazing for us, it is the right way to go, forward. Fine, keep this forum if you must, but let's think about it, we arn't getting anywhere here are we? Time has proved that. So let's try again, on a bigger, better and new site. We can do this people, this is our time. We can help teenagers across the world, thats the dream is it not? Yes, Yes it is the dream. So let's live it.

The reason activity has lulled is because I've been waiting for the new skin/concept and stuff. With that will come a huge boost in my advertising efforts and therefore a boost in the number of members. Soon we will produce a website to go along with it and ABC will be what it always should have been.

You don't know how much can be done with ProBoards. We could build an entire website on ProBoards that made it look like the forum was just a feature, it's all possible.
