Braap is a terrible word. Exactly right. Not really it makes the sentence sound much better.

Heya! I'm Luke, I'm 15. I'm shy as hell so don't expect many posts out of me I think I already know a good number of the people on here. [read most of the older CFers] I play guitar and keyboard. I spend a ridiculous amount of time on my computer (average computer uptime at the end of a day during the holidays is about nine hours). I mostly use Vista and Ubuntu, though I've got a desktop with an Xubuntu install and I occasionally steal my parents XP desktop. I've also been a part of Zenshin Karate-Do for five and a half years and have recently started as a Sempai (assistant teacher). I teach on Sunday mornings. Midlands people PM so I can force you to come and try it out In a direct opposite to my forum behaviour, I really enjoy talking on MSN and welcome anyone that wants to to add me, whether it be for a chat, rant, outpouring of feelings My msn address will be in my profile as soon as I get round to editing my profile. Though I'm afraid WLM update/install problems have left me combined to meebo. And please, don't mention Pidgin. I have a feeling I may have spent too long on this post already, so I'll end it now See all y'all around! EDIT: I can't believe I forgot to mention it, but I'm currently working towards the conclusion of an anti-bullying/knife-crime film as part of my school's Youth Against Crime group. When it's done and dusted I'll see what I can do about uploading it. A warning now though, it's rather corny

Hai Luke! For someone who is shy, that was a very long introductory post. Have fun on ABC anyway.

Hi. I'm new.
My name is Elizabeth and I am 22 years old and female (obviously.)
I am engaged to a man who lives in Georgia and I live in California.
Anyway, as soon as I saw this place, I knew I wanted to join it. Not only do I LOVE to help people with their problems, but also I have a lot of anxiety/fear/weird problems myself that I don't feel like I can talk to anyone with. I'm completely reserved in real life and although online I am friendly, I do not usually like to make myself vulnerable enough to talk about my problems. This forum is very important to me for that reason.
I see though . . . and this disturbs me . . . . that there hasn't been any new posts in over a week or something like that. Is there anything I can do to help you with that? Since I think this forum is very important to the internet (since there aren't very many places like this), I will do what I can to make it more active. I am good at making threads and bugging people to post in places so if you need me to do those things, I am here for you, just tell me what I can do.

Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for joining! Yeah, the forum has been having a bit of an activity problem recently, so some help in that area would be much appreciated.

Okay, sure. =)
Well, one thing I'd suggest you doing (this is what I did and it worked out nicely for me when I ran a forum) is send out a mass e-mail telling everyone to come back. It actually works, some people will have just forgotten about this forum and will come back.
And I'll make threads here in the General Discussion Section for people to post in.
And I'll also post some ads for you on a few of the General Discussion forums I'm a member of.
