Personally, I hate rap music. I just don't see the appeal of someone talking very fast down a microphone about violence and sex, punctuating it with swear words.
What do you all think?

Hate, hate, hate. I do not believe it can be called music, and that calling it so insults those who work hard to achieve beautiful music.

Do you have any reasons for liking rap that actually contribute properly to the discussion, or are you just going to spout crap?

i like rap music because i like listening to the lyrics, and i like the sound and beat to it See, that is the sort of opinion we want. So, you like these lyrics yeah. These are so brilliant. [Hook:] My hat is low, my trousers too And people say that I'm too rude But I don't care cause I'm the s**t So you can all just suck my d**k Just suck my
[Verse 1:] When I was a kid I had a chip up on my shoulder It ain't getting better even though I'm getting older People get offended by the way I talk so freely Pushing up their face and acting funny when they see me But I'm raggo, damn it, so I say f**k it If you don't like the way I do my thing, then you can suck it I really don't give a s**t, I really don't care for your approval I'm a f**king G, I'll carry on doing my s**t as usual Cause

Why did he feel the need to talk fast down a microphone very fast using language that every ten year old kid thinks is cool?

because he feels that people who listen to that kind of music will understand what he means and is trying to say, without people like you... HATER!!! tryin to demean them and their ways of expression... im the same i dont know all these fancy words that you use to express yourself so i just swear as its how i prefer to express ma self, and well... the only way i can express ma self fully

Please talk properly. Insistent use of lower case 'i's and the word 'ma' is very annoying.
That may be true, but can you deny the fact that 90% of those who like rap listen to it because of the swearing/violence/sex/drugs/etc.

It is a fact that most of them listen to it purely because of the factors I mentioned previously or because it makes them appear "hard". @ Tom: LMAO. So true. ;D

Tom speaks the truth! Some of you may know my school's making a music video about knife crime. Me and my friend Ali sing the main tune, but my music teacher decided that to make it appeal to everyone we should include a rap, and I should sing it. So I came up with this lump of crap:
This is Eilidh, Not da JZ Here speaking out for AAMC (Music Crew) So let's get togeva, Here and now, Let's break the silence, Stop da violence. People goin around stabbing each other, One little boy goes stabbing his mova, And we all need see what we're doing is wrong, And it's been going on for far too long, So let's remember Michelle, Our baby girl, Who got caught on the bad side of da world, So back to Ali wif her beautiful song, Put your hands together, come on, come on!
Oh dear.

TB, please stop referring to rap as music, technical terms of service say it should be referred to as 'crap.'
Rap was designed to make other music look better. Crazer, are you intelligent?

Yes, I do consider crazer as intelligent. It's just that the intelligence is hidden quite deep down.
