At my school its like (in order)
COOL PEOPLE (A CROWD)
The A Crowd are full on into sport, and being very good at sport its quite natural that you'll get respect.
WANNABEES
These people are totally desperate to make it, and this group is mainly full of girls who act like massive sluts to get attention
NORMAL PEOPLE
The rest of the people
SMART KIDS (The Downball Group)
These kids are the in betweens, well liked by most kids but just not part of the A-Crowd, sometimes because they don't want to, or there too smart
NERDS
Since I go to a private school there are some kids who are hardcore nerds, who live in the library and only discuss fantasy novels
EMO'S
These girls act like sluts, look like whores, and die there hair constantly. Cause of that, they get no respect from anybody.
I'm actually well liked and part of the A Crowd. Funnily enough the A Crowd don't make fun of and bully kids as much as the wannabees.
I'm also an A student and am good friends with a lot of the nerds.

You are part of the "in crowd", but you don't completely alienate those who are less up the hierarchy as you.

I'm not popular, but I'm happy like that. If people want to form groups, then so be it. I think it's because I don't make any effort to join them. They bully people, so I don't want anything to do with them.

I think you guys are wrong about the groups, but then again, it all depends on how old you are. Last year, there was a load of groups, people took the piss out of each other because they were apparently however high up in the social structure they thought they were. Now, in year 11, they started to dissolve a bit. Not much, admittably, but all the popular people who used to be complete idiots seemed to have just turned off. Some of them are even a little nice, once you get to know them. The crazy thing is, I think the only reason we all act like it is expectation. I only keep my mouth shut at school because everyone would be like WTF! If I didn't. I'm sure if one of the popular guys didn't come into art stoned, we'd be a tad surprised. But, my friend Dil started a new school at year ten, all of the others were in groups and had already been together for 3 years, he'd been a nerd at his old school but was instantley popular there; they didn't expect anything from him. And he didn't expect anything from them. He was able to talk to everyone, since he hadn't judged them years before. ... Ergo; I can't wait to leave in a few months.

We definitely have a lot of groups. Plastics- There are boys and girls. Basically perfect types who think they're above everyone else. Mostly goody goodies, they talk about sex a lot though. Populars- More rebel-ish, do drugs, still think they're above everyone else. Some are chavvish Park streeters- Mostly the people from Park Street. Miles, Max S etc. Also Caolan sort of. They play bulldog and stuff at break. They're sort of losers and are mostly a bit stupid Xboxish gamers/RKEers- That's me, Charlie, Ozzy, Bailey, Gabriel, Caolan etc. Most of us play xbox a lot. We're almost all pretty smart and we mess around in class. Real losers- They all hang out in the learning center on the computers or in the Hall. They're kind of sad and all very stupid. Nerds- They mostly hang around talking about Twilight or mistakes other people have made in their work.. That's how our year divides up

I would love to discuss Twilight, but: Girly Book + All-Boys School = NO! Also, before this post there was 69 posts in this board. Is it bad that I lol'd? Yes. Very pad. xD Come to my school! We don't have cookies, but we're all raging homosexuals anyway! Woops! School injoke, oh dear! Ah well, school can be quite awesome, as long as you avoid the idiots. We have that injoke, being an all girls school =/ Also, in my year we have: - The girls who go out and get drunk at house parties practically every week, the ones who have sex without knowing till 3 days later... - The girls who do the same as the above, but in moderation - The geeks/nerds - That's us. We're the least cliquey of the groups by far, and it shows; I think we're the happiest, too. (There's a bunch of smaller groups too)

Aww, my school just has people who are involved with drugs and gangs and such. Stereotypical London school, is what I've heard it being described as. xP

The funny thing is, within all these stereotypes you have more stereotypes. For example, in the "music" group (I'm kinda in that one) you'll still have the funny one, the partier, the geeky one and the cool one .etc. So actually, once you're in a group you're happy to be in, you can still be labled even further. I mean, I've been lucky enough to get "the likable, funny and kinda nerd-like" which is awesome, but it isn't as easy for some people.

i think your types of people is seriously shitty and misguided, its more like: geeks - the people that are total geeks in almost everyway and are immensly clever people who are thought to be geeks: they are pretty clever but hang around with the geeks so get called a geek norms - just your everyday kinda people, clever but not very clever and dont get into loads of trouble, but have the odd telling off gays and whatnots - these are the people that are just considered gay, you dont have to be actualy gay.. but if you hang around with atleast 3 or 4, you are part of the "gay crowd" hard kids - the hard kids reli =/, the ones you call rebels... they are the ones that dick about abit, but not as much as the group beneath kids that think they are hard - these are the worst as they think its big to bully people and shit and think they they r well ard, when they actualy arent and then we come to... loners and rejects - these are the people that have no real friends and are just rejected from general socialism (these are lower down the geeks, they are the lowest of low) well, thats how i see it... im sure people will be telling me where i am rong and being harsh on people and discriminating or wot eva... but the truth is.... its how i see it You left out the dirty punks. Every school has one. They reject normal social conventions, and choose the out-law status over just trying to fit into a social niche 8 sizes too small. They are generally very smart, and many of them will go on to do amazing things in life. The flip side is about 99% have problems, ranging from drug addictions to eating disorders to depression. Can't remember where I was going with this one... oh well.

In my opinion, the use of text speak, greatly reduce your view, the exchange value of your views. It makes it less serious. This is a real shame, because the things in this post, you say is very true.
